Meet the Team

Hi I'm Steph, and I'm a Canine Behaviourist and Dog Trainer. 

I have more than 10 years experience working with thousands of dogs and their caregivers, with a  huge range of behaviour concerns and training goals. I'm here to help you with anything from complex behavioural problems through to foundation skills puppy training.  

 I started my formal journey to dog training and behaviour in 2016, qualifying  in Applied Animal Behaviour (Canine) and securing ABTC and TCBTS accreditation as an Animal Training Instructor.  

I undertake continued, evidenced professional development, maintaining membership with the most rigorous and well-respected welfare-centered dog training organisations in the UK. I'm passionate about animal welfare and it's core to everything I do. 

Hi I'm Nate and I'm the Client Manager here at RV Canine Services, here to support you from your initial enquiry right through to the end of your training sessions. 

 When you first get in touch, I'll often be the person you speak to. As a dog owner, I share Steph's passion for welfare-centred training. With a few details about your dog and your training concerns, I'll be able to guide you towards the service best suited to you.  

If we need to know a little more about your dog or your goals, then we can arrange a free 15 minute chat with Steph to make sure we get you off to the very best start. 

We pride ourselves on providing a bespoke, personal service to each and every one of our clients, so once booked in you'll have access to remote support from Steph and I'll help you make sure your next session is booked in on time. If you have any questions about our services, I'm here to help.

We firmly believe that dogs are part of the family. 

There is no one rule fits all training. Every dog, caregiver and household is different and has different needs. We'll help without judgement or criticism, experienced in finding effective management and training solutions to a wide range of behaviour and training concerns. 

Reward-based techniques are the focus of what we do, developing new behaviors and skills, while setting boundaries in a gentle and effective way. Our training considers your dogs stage of development, diet, health and history for a whole dog approach. 

We believe that training should be enjoyable for dogs and their owners and our methods reflect this belief, keeping everyone's comfort and safety at the forefront.
